Recognition is here to stay in Finance Facial AI-fuelled computer vision technology is disrupting financial services. The online banking growth has had a transformative impact on how people are managing their financial accounts and making payments. The increasing sophistication of fraudulent transactions and virus attacks can cost financial organizations millions of dollars, loss of data and customer confidence, and negative brand reputation. One potential solution to this problem is facial recognition technology, a process of identifying or verifying the identity using face in photos, video, or in real-time. Let’s take a closer look at some facial recognition approaches applied these days. Facial Recognition Approaches Below we have proposed some methods to improve facial recognition accuracy rate. Classical Approach.  It is not effective when working with combined pose, occlusion and illumination variations. Developers usually apply it when working with small data ...

High expectations for the future of the computer vision in medicine Strong interest in AI-powered computer vision solutions for medicine is incredibly growing across many business sectors. Computer vision solutions provide great benefits to medicine helping human doctors diagnose diseases and treat patients. The AI-powered computer vision software market was valued at 2.37 billion U.S. dollars in 2017, and it is expected to reach 25.32 billion U.S. dollars by 2023, at a CAGR of 47.54%. Being a subdomain of artificial intelligence, computer vision technology is applied to acquire, handle, analyze and understand digital images and video data from the real world to gain high-level understanding. Machine vision systems help doctors detect the slightest sign changes in the human organism and provide highly accurate information (organs and blood flow measurements) to take action based on that data. Let’s delve into some computer vision news in medicine that will promote t...
